A piece of your identity
I reflect your style
And your personality
I'm on billboards
And in magazines
I'm in your feed
And on your screens
I'm what you buy
A constant temptation
Always there to fulfill
Your deepest cravings
I promise happiness
And a better life
With every purchase
Comes a temporary high
I'm what you buy
A temporary escape
From the reality
You long to reshape
I'm a symbol of success
And of status too
You buy me to impress
And to prove your value
I'm what you buy
A mask for your insecurities
A way to fit in
And avoid uncertainties
I'm dressed in luxury
Or in bargain deals
Sometimes I'm a want
But often a need

In this consumer's cycle
