Impossible Habitat Poem by The Poet SPIEL

Impossible Habitat

in innocence
i built my home
of toothpicks
bright steel washers
and passing pink clouds

lived comfortably therein
until one day
a frontpage story
declared my home
impossible

and now i live
exposed
to the elements
ashamed
in my nakedness
