In A Dream. Poem by Durlabh Singh

In A Dream.

I looked myself in a dream
My skull floating in the sky
With embers within it’s enclose
Floating across ways of planets
Surrounded by jittery spheres
Haven then forgot
Its solitary existence.

My songs are for you
A torrent of anguish
Flickering slowly somewhere
Across cold ethereal dark space
Where figures turned to stones
Eyeing the sacred remnants.

I have loved your face
Your eyelids did reflect
Forgotten loves of past waters
A story in romance of clouded times
Washed with incessant rain from heavens
Left in wait for the immeasurable rhymes.
