Silence of the night,
Sea of its darkness,
That I am in love with,
Penetrates into me,
With its hum and sharpness,
Rips off my weight,
Turns me so light,
Sets me afloat,
Casts me adrift,
Keeps me awake,
Talks to me all night.
Far and wide,
Nothing in sight,
Just me and my night.
Dissolves me into its darkness,
An inter-affinity develops,
I interpenetrate its ad infinitum wilderness,
Unconstrained and tame,
Inter the deepest dark,
None nothing,
Just me and my night,
In a world aflame!
