In Memory Of Brian Kocher - Poem by Daniel Sims

I walk the lonely halls,
Everything seems so much quieter now,
The everyday greeting,
Never failed to amuse.
I miss that.

Forever in our hearts,
And never gone in our minds,
Your were the true friend,
A comfort, a shelter, a place to confide.
I miss that.

Every obstacle beaten,
Every person befriended,
Every heart touched,
Every friend inspired.
I miss that.

The school is vacant,
The emotion is raw,
Our sadness shows,
Your laughs we do miss,
I miss that.

Shock, horror, and tears,
The thought was impossible,
The impossible became reality,
The reality accepted, tears fall,
I miss you.

His never-ending smile,
His constant laugh,
His brightness, his spark,
His influence, His affect,
His joy and passion, and his mark on our lives.

Never forgotten,
But forever missed.
