In Search Of Truth (A Ghazal) Poem by Mystic Qalandar

In Search Of Truth (A Ghazal)

You ask why the Beloved seems a distant star—
yet Its light falls without a bar, neither near nor far.

The pearl of essence, hidden from my shallow art,
dwells in each lament's hidden scar, neither near nor far.

See this finger tracing light on a silent screen?
Even this touch is Your speech, a shooting star, neither near nor far.

My outward eye calls You distant, then at my door,
but the soul's pulse knows You are, neither near nor far.

This is not union's wine, nor separation's scar—
this is the state of Being, a light from afar, neither near nor far.

What did I find in this brief life's weary parade?
Only love—for love alone is my guiding star, neither near nor far.

Beside You, nothing exists. I am not afraid.
Finding no "other" was grace, a rising star, neither near nor far.

The tale of "I" and "You" is a beautiful lie—
what remains is the face of truth, the heart's true star, neither near nor far.

My path is myself; seeker and sought are the same.
I am the long question, the answer from afar, neither near nor far.

MyKoul, say: no grief, no regret in my name—
this one glory of love remains, a deathless star, neither near nor far.

MyKoul
