There was a time of dream
When I was waiting for you
Every evening

There was a time of moon lit nights
When I walked with you happily
With hand in hand

There was a time of thought
When sweet memories of you
Went in procession through heart


This is the time of question I think
Since you left me
Saying good bye and see you
I waited and waited day in day out
You didn't turn up till date
Ages gone by
Still I am waiting for you
With great hope and expectation
In silence and solitude
