In Simpler Words.. I Guess You Lose
I wanna restart
give me a new heart
one that's pure
not split apart
I wanna try again
give me a new pen
to rewrite
all that should never have been
I wanna recast
erase the characters
from the films past
auditions for new
lets make these last
One last chance
for a new rendition
get outta that dance
nomore submission
Im gonna take this life
and make it new
push out the knife
and give it back to you
now's my chance
to say...
we're through
pack yourbags
and pay your dues
in simpler words

I wrote this today while at my brothers' baseball game, watching them I later found my gaze veering toward my ex boyfriend. I miss him a lot and it hurts everyday, but I found myself thinkin about how much I gave up for him, and all that I lost because of it, and no matter how much I love him, I had to start thinkin about whether or not its worth the way I was treated and all that I went through.. i am tired of feeling the way I do about my self and I have come to the conclusion its time for a little break, to become happy with just myself before expecting to be happy with someone else. No matter how hard it is or how much it hurts I have to do my best to keep myself from going back to him or the likes of him period. it hurts everyday but as the saying goes ' It only gets worse before it gets better.. I have to keep telling myself that.
