In the desert of 'Nothingness, ' we wander—
Across this vast expanse of void,
Where silence roars aloud,
And solitude echoes its own hollow sound.
This emptiness, this wilderness of non-being,
Spreads endlessly beneath our feet:
Boundless... Unmarked...
We are travelers of this desolation,
Seeking the Divine Essence
That might fill this infinite void
With the hues of Its own radiance.
We long to grasp those shadows
Dancing on the wall of comprehension—
Illusions spun by fleeting light.
But the ego, that cunning sorcerer,
Dresses falsehood in truth's attire;
Turns artificial glitter into suns.
Then, in the arrogance of 'I, '
It shamelessly proclaims:
'I have unraveled reality's secrets! '
How can the ocean quench a thirst
That has known its own roots?
When thirst has seeped into the soul's depths,
When fire runs through the veins—
The blaze of love, a burning ache to 'know'—
Then recognizing Truth becomes
Life's singular purpose,
Its only destination,
The final refuge!
How can love for the false
Mend that deep fissure?
The crack that formed when we forgot
The Primordial Covenant of 'Yawm-e-Alast'.
That forgotten memory
Became a chasm in our nature.
We are vessels of clay,
Molded to contain
The Infinite Essence.
Yet the world offers only:
Small cups, shallow mirages,
Temporary joys, fleeting desires—
How can these bring fulfillment?
These vessels crave the River
That has flowed since Eternity.
Only that Limitless Being,
That Eternal Presence,
Can fill the void within—
A wound gaping in our depths.
Only It can silence
The ego's clamor,
The restless waves of the mind,
That whisper ceaselessly:
'We are the Hidden Reality...
We are the Secret that filled the void of 'Nothing'
And transformed it into 'All'...'
'From all you touch or cannot touch,
Every being, seen or unseen—
We are greater than them all!
For this 'All'
Was created solely for us,
For our sake.'
Then what is this 'Nothing'?
It is, in truth:
A map,
A path,
The alchemy that leads us back
To our Origin—
To the 'All.'
To that Source,
From which we set forth
On the fields of 'Yawm-e-Alast'
