In The Eye Of The Storm Poem by Sarojkanta Dash

In The Eye Of The Storm

Rating: 5.0

I never saw you in your completeness
In your wholeness;
Only bits and pieces of selection
Mostly one at a time.
Life throbbed there
In the hub of passion-
And, of course, the blackout was chosen.
What was there in the margin
Did it really matter
When a self out of two evolved
Thoroughly conjoined?
Did it matter that you too forgot
As I did
And lived
In the eye of the storm?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
More than anything else the blessed state of being together is important. Preferably, that should be the only wholeness recognized by lovers.
