In the presence of the felon,
There's a heavy sense of dread
A darkness looming over,
Filling me with fear and dread
In the presence of the felon,
Everything feels so wrong
My heart races in my chest,
As I hear his footsteps strong
There's a chill in the air,
As he walks into the room
His eyes pierce through my soul,
A feeling of impending doom
In the presence of the felon,
I feel my body freeze
The weight of his crimes,
Is almost suffocating me
With every move he makes,
I feel a shiver down my spine
The aura of danger,
Is something I can't define
In the presence of the felon,
There's no room for hope
Just a constant sense of danger,
A never-ending slippery slope
His voice is a command,
And I dare not defy
For in his eyes, I see,
The darkness that can't be denied
In the presence of the felon,
The air is thick with tension
A force that's hard to resist
A powerful and dark ascension
I try to look away,
But I'm drawn to his gaze
Mesmerized and terrified,
In this perilous maze
With each passing moment,
I feel my heart race faster
The fear and the uncertainty,
Seems to be my only master
In the presence of the felon,
I am at his mercy
Hoping and praying,
That he will show some mercy
But his expression remains stoic,
As he continues to stare
A predator, ready to strike,
With a cold and calculating glare
In the presence of the felon,
The walls seem to close in
A claustrophobic feeling,
As I'm trapped in his den
With every breath I take,
I feel the weight of his past
The crimes he's committed,
Will forever last and last
In the presence of the felon,
Time seems to stand still
I can't escape his grasp,
As he holds me against my will
The clock ticks by slowly,
As I wait for him to leave
Hoping for a chance,
For my soul to finally breathe
In the presence of the felon,
I am filled with dread
But I know I must remain strong,
And face him with my head held
For in the presence of the felon,
I refuse to be weak
I'll stand my ground and face him,
Even if my voice may shake
In the presence of the felon,
I am reminded of the pain
But I know I'll survive,
And my strength will not wane
For in the presence of the felon,
I am more than just a bystander
I am a warrior, a survivor,
And I'll overcome this danger
So as I walk away,
From the presence of the felon
I hold my head up high,
For I am no longer under his spell.
