In The Shade Of Alast's Willow Poem by Mystic Qalandar

In The Shade Of Alast's Willow

I still remember—
though ages have dissolved,
the memory lingers,
closer than breath,
truer than the pulse within my chest.

I still remember—
the call that arrived
before I learned to rise,
a vow affirmed
before creation's dawn,
whispered into the soul's core.

It was no new command,
but a seal on the timeless script—
woven through all things:
The One within all,
The One beyond all.

Immanent, yet transcendent—
not two, but a single light,
rejoicing in its reflection.
The Divine at play,
hiding, revealing,
again and again.

I still remember—
the ancient vow
beneath a silent willow,
its shade enfolding
the unseen and the seen,
where nearness touched
the farthest edge.

How many cycles
has this secret dance endured?
This endless hiding,
this endless seeking,
this eternal embrace.

I still remember—
and every soul that listens
feels the echo stir.

I still remember—
though the mind veils the secret,
it breathes—
in memory's hidden chambers,
etched upon the heart's own scrolls.

I still remember—
though worlds have risen and fallen,
that moment abides—
unfading,
ever-present,
Now.
