In The Sweet Forever, Poem by Spanner Thegob

In The Sweet Forever,

In the sweet forever,
Under a stubborn sky,
We will be together,
We will meet again,

You and I, together.
On the road to find out
I travel alone, hoping somewhere,
Someone misses me, knowing no one does.

Under a stubborn sky
a curious moon gazes on the world.
with only A midnight breeze and a quiet prayer for company
The mocking cold, my constant companion Tells me to hurry.

for all that we left unsaid, there will be an ache,
Someday, I will get to hold you.
Absence has no language, only a dull ache.
Under a stubborn sky

The mocking wind,
my constant companion
Tells me to hurry
to the sweet forever,

Under a stubborn sky
We will be together
We will meet again
In the sweet forever
