Once upon a time, deep underground,
In a dark and lonely place,
Lived a little girl, feeling lost and bound,
With sadness on her face.
She had fallen into a well so deep,
No one could hear her cries,
She longed for someone to hear her weep,
And help her escape the skies.
But as days went by, and no one came,
She resigned to her fate,
Feeling trapped in this well of shame,
The thought of escape seemed too late.
But what she didn't know, in the darkness below,
Lived a little creature, oh so small,
Guided by the echoes of her sorrow,
It crept towards her call.
With beady eyes and a heart so kind,
It listened to her story,
And with a little hope, she began to find,
A glimmer of courage and glory.
Together they talked, and sang and laughed,
And she forgot about her pain,
For in this well, she had found a path,
To happiness and a new domain.
With the creature's help, she climbed and climbed,
Till she reached the top once more,
And as she emerged, she left behind
The darkness of the well's deep core.
Now whenever she feels lost and alone,
She thinks of that little elf,
For in the depths, she had found her own,
And discovered her inner self.
So if you ever find yourself in a well,
Remember this tale so true,
For even in darkness, hope will swell,
And a friend might come to you.
In the well, she found a friend,
That showed her the light,
And in the end, she learned to mend,
And emerged from the well, with all her might.
