In truth, without doubt:
what is manifest
is as what is hidden,
what is unseen
is as what is seen—
all revealing the wonder
of the One Being.
For all proceeds
from the One alone,
as the muwaḥḥidīn proclaim.
And we are born
for this single purpose:
to return to unity.
Our Father is the One;
our Mother too
is the same One.
By His breath
our soul was cast
into this vessel of clay—
resounding, hollow, awaiting Him.
One is the source
of every work in the world.
One's power is whole,
perfect, sovereign over all.
Verily, One has power
over everything.
Separate the smoke of illusion,
the veil of duality,
from the pure fire of unity.
Draw the subtle
from the gross,
gently, with discernment—
and behold the light of Oneness.
For One is the Light
of the heavens and the earth,
a flame unquenchable.
When this light descends
into the heart of the perfected,
he beholds what is above
and what is below.
Thus he gains the glory
of humankind and creation entire,
and darkness flees from him.
One is the Power of all powers:
raising the living from the dead,
the dead from the living,
conquering every form,
subtle or gross.
So the wondrous art—
the human—
is shaped
in the image
of the Great One.
From this truth
arise marvelous revelations;
from this unity
the mysteries are born.
