Incandescent Poem by Deepa Rajkumari

Incandescent

In the vast pool of darkness,
I stand strong,
There are many
but I stand alone.

The golden ribbons of Helios
Shower me with blaze.
You see me as a twinkling piece,
I see you as my dearest.

I shed tears,
You make a wish.
I am far
but you see me as it is.

I am fading away
but you won't discern.
To you, I am just a
Twinkle twinkle little star.
