Inchoate Poem by Ludvig Von Himmelstein

Inchoate

Rating: 4.0

Walk alone
Cloaked in silence
Strange how
You never know
Dreams Dreamed
While you sleep
Become the world
In which you go
You dream a dream
call it yours
plant it in the ground
nurture ever so discreetly
always treat it kind
they may snow you
say that they own you
say that they protect you
from the fire and the rain
but they can never own
the theater of your mind
nor the dreams in your brain
so walk alone
but never lonely
dream dreams
they will be fine
nurture them
ever so discreetly
and always treat the world kind
