Increasing Beautiful Moment Of Hope Poem by Ehsan Iqbal

Increasing Beautiful Moment Of Hope

Eyes you posses that are most adorable
Giving my heart a disease which is incurable
Having a depth which, to me, is incomparable
Damaging my lungs, making them irreparable

You have something in your mind I do not understand
Thus I ask you, share them with me, take my hand
Together we can make, against your horrors, a last stand
And I shall not let go even if it's the last strand

And seeing you like this, surely makes me upset
Not being there for you, I always regret
It may not help, but I have a compulsion to fret
My peace is not here yet, no, not yet.

You are indeed a moment most increasing
You may feel my devotion to you is decreasing
But my heart, a fear is policing
Just know that my dedication to you is unceasing

Then you are a moment which is the most beautiful
I'm only stating a fact which is most provable
And for you it is a title which is most suitable
Thus do understand, my dire situation of a crucible

A moment you are, yes, but a moment of hope
Of my hope you are also a stethoscope
Though I will fall you will surely send a rope
And you will then suit the title of increasing beautiful moment of hope

And though you are a moment of hope, so am I
And to hold my hand out to you I will no longer be shy
And to you neither have I before, nor will I ever lie
If need be, together we shall die
Together we shall sigh, together we shall die
In our own worlds we shall fly
High, high, higher than the sky
And when your eye shall be over your eye
I will fall down... and in your eyes I shall lie
And once my time is here, in peace I will die
