Into a new era, heralded by bravery, we awaken
Notwithstanding evil harbingers, we progress.
Despite all hurdles and hooligans, we remain unshaken.
Ending the injustice, clearing the big mess;
People now sing in unison as one single nation
Each and every citizen, whole-heartedly showing patriotism;
Now we stand together, fulfilling decade's old aspirations.
Dooming the disunity that once crippled optimism,
Enriched by love offered by Mother India.
National peace and harmony gradually embraces us.
Citizens join hands to stand tall as Indians,
Everything finally falls in place;
as we finally realize the true essence of Free India.
