Indo-Pak Strife Poem by Bhaskaranand Jha Bhaskar

Indo-Pak Strife

Swelled up with growing pride
Two big hearts
Fight against each other
Chest to chest
For no man's land

Sitting at the top of the world
Vulture eyes keep
A close watch
Waiting to eat the dead
When floating
Unclaimed in the blood pool
Of the brave,
And the bold or the fool.

Where egos clash and fight
Hapless humanity dies;
Love and peace beat their breast
Echoing the widowed cries!
