Inevitability - Poem by Nathaniel Graves

Innocence;
The 'pure' essence;
The gift of an ignorant
Self-consciousness...
A tasteful arrogance,
Revengeful,
With pride
And guilt;
Honourful,
With a hint of
Over-zealousness;
Life,
With a hidden
Compliance of
Death...
Inevitability;
Because nothing
Else would make
Sense...
Because,
Nothing else
Matters...
So,
Grieve
Green
And,
Show us what
Sprouts the seed of
Eternal damnation...
