Innocence Poem by Anonymous Ghurl

Innocence

Row, row, row your boat even as you sink
Take a step forward as you stand at the brink
Ba ba black sheep of the family
Woolen bag over on my head 'cause I want to be free
Little Bo Peep holds onto her knife
And wonders if she should just take her life
There was a young lady who swallowed a pill
That made her eyes blur and her stomach feel ill
When I was a child I thought without care
Now I am broken beyond all repair
When you talk of your childhood in the past tense
You become wicked and lose innocence
