Inside Poem by Caitlin Moreby

Inside

Inside I'm smiling,
I promise I am.
You may not see it,
But I know I still can.

Inside I am happy,
Gosh! Can't you see?
There's nothing I'd change,
So content at being me.

Inside I am running
Away from that girl.
I look like I like her,
She destroyed my world.

Inside I don't see you,
When you're out with her.
I see you with me,
Blissful - we once were.
