There really is no matter,
What ever your colour be,
'Cos when we're all turned inside out,
You're just the same as me.
Your eyelids will flutter and open,
Your nose will twitch and sniff,
Your lips will twist, into a smile, and -
Just imagine, what if....
Your hair was white and curly, and
Mine was straight and black,
Would you walk away from me,
Or stop, and then turn back....
Would you use that lovely smile,
The one, the same as mine, and
Flutter your eyes, and twitch your nose, and
Spend a little time.........
Getting to know a stranger,
Not quite the same as you - but...
Can flutter their eyes, and twitch their nose,
The same as you can do.
Your smile, it is so radiant, and
Mine is radiant too, so...
Remember when turned inside out,
I am the same as you.
So next time you do see me,
Don't turn, and look away,
Embrace the very moment,
A new friend, you made today. : -)
