Inside The Wrappings Poem by Ulysses Cabinatan

Inside The Wrappings

Some are wrapped beautifully,
Some are wrapped loosely,
Some are wrapped with expensive wrappers,
Some are wrapped with used old papers.
Whatever the wrapping is,
the most important is what is inside.
The true nature of the gift,
A gift endowed with love
With kindness
and with goodness.

May everyone you meet,
Won’t just be beautifully wrapped
But also have a gentle heart
May everyone will consider their friends,
as a gift worthy to be cared, appreciated and respected.
Regardless of the wrappings.
