Internal Introversion Poem by Britt Veloso

Internal Introversion

Mystery and recklessness
It's in my veins and heart
I sail around in my room
Trying to dodge poison darts
It's on my hands
I know that if I hit, I won't stand
Danger and pain
I feel them flutter inside, contained
Can people see?
I'm seeping out
Some see blue
Some see red
I wish someone would realize
I'm god damn dead
