You and I see, speak face to face
Words - knows what the other will say
Word for word
Thoughts - or is about to say
Heart to heart
Actions - or maybe rather not sound
Like a sounding brass but show it
With a song, a smile, a kiss, a gift
And yet, it seems it's not even about that
Not what I say or do, it's who I am
Nor what you say or do, it's who you are
That draws me near to your presence
You and I see, face to face
So into-me-see
That my faith and your love may walk
Hand in hand
