Inverse Lore Poem by Mary Champion

Inverse Lore

FROM THE GODDESS

My poor bewildered Son, hear this my song...
You've wondered dazed and daunted for so long.
You've lost your faith and now you're losing hope,
But never doubt our triumph. We can cope.
It's time to turn your back on childish lies.
It's time to learn the truth and so get wise.
When you can look yourself straight in the face,
The puzzle that is life will fall in place.

You must accept yourself for what you are.
No other thought has ever come this far.
Despite the shadows and the blood we've spilt
We'll win the peace and cast off all the guilt.
We're what we are and what we have to be
To walk that line and set our spirit free.
