Invisible enemy, you came out of the blue
Spreading fear and sickness, affecting the few
But soon you took over, a pandemic ensued
The world was in chaos, the future eschewed
We tried to stop you, with masks and vaccines
But your power was greater, than we ever could dream
You crept into our lives, and changed everything
From work to school, to even simple gathering
You stole our loved ones, and left us in pain
Took away our freedoms, and made us refrain
From the things we once took for granted, so carefree
Now we live in uncertainty, afraid of what's to be
But amidst the despair, there's a glimmer of hope
As we come together, to learn and to cope
We fight with all our might, and never give in
Until the day we beat you, and let freedom begin
Corona, you may be fierce, but we are stronger
We'll overcome your grip, and wait no longer
For a new day to dawn, a brighter tomorrow
Without fear or sorrow, but only joy to follow.
