Is There More To Life? Poem by Carl R Nicolas

Is There More To Life?

Life is not the routine
of waking, working, sleeping,
and repeating the same quiet circle
until the years fade away.

Do not believe
that existence was meant
to be measured only
by possessions, titles,
or the fleeting comfort
of surface happiness...There is a tapestry of unseen layers, woven with threads of connection, meaning, and a profound, quiet spirituality...

There is more...More purpose
than simply passing through the days... More meaning
than the mundane rhythm of getting through...

Life is layered like the ocean,
what we see at the surface
is only the beginning... If you feel unfulfilled, take heart. It is not a sign of failure...

Beneath the surface lives
growth,
struggle,
wisdom,
connection,
spiritual awakening,
and the quiet discovery
of who we were truly meant to become... An invitation
to the soul to search deeper...

For life was never meant
to be lived only in comfort,
it was meant
to be experienced
in its full complexity:
the triumphs,
the questions,
the lessons,
the transformation...

Then somewhere,
beyond the ordinary horizon,
there is more waiting for you to find it...
Carl Nicolas.
