Isolation Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Isolation

Isolation
When I noticed everywhere
There is betrayal.
The roots of selfish motives
Stretching inside soil of humanity.
Ego flowing in blood stream of human.
I isolated myself from rest of the world.
To keep myself away from
Evil spirit of ghosts.
No one here, in this world, feels necessary
To pay back for contribution I made.
For their prosperity and welfare.
What all they learn is how to exploit.
No matter who you are.
Neither, relation of blood inhibits them
Nor, voice of morality is audible for them.
Hence, I planned to keep me
Away from all of them.
A sense of transcendental feeling
That I perceived in isolation.
A solitary place enriched me
With spiritual perpetual light.
