Issues Poem by Jessica Lee

Issues

Things will only come to its end
Nothing will change and nothing will remain the same
I may not have been the right person to send
but I know where I'm going and everyone's playing the same game.

Nothing in my life will obtain balance,
Nothing will keep it from going ahead
but each big step I take it will find my talent
and then she will know how much I've improved instead.

Things she has said sure true but not everything
she has said is a true fact;
She still acts like a teen herself even if she acts like it's nothing
She is just pulling another act.

I'm not perfect like you wanted me to be
I know because you made me this way
But now you should see
how much I have to say

To you and him all at once
When the time comes you will know
how much I've improved,
and how much I have done.

You both will see things from my perspective
and will see how my life is different from yours.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Family issues, mom thinks that I'm not perfect like any other teen but she made me this way. I at least do my work at school and try to get things done but she gets in the way and ruins it! Not like a helpful mom now right? Sure I understand she is helping but that is not helping for yelling at her daughter that she is a Bsfsfd and a asdhele.
