It Can't Be Better For A Child
I thought I deserved better
For many years I did
But before those many years
I thought it was better
I thought I was in heaven
Crying myself to sleep
Was still good the young mind
Hurting me
But caring
It cared
So I let it
I let it hurt me
Because I thought it was love
Forcing me to a false light
Condemning me against my will
I thought it was for my betterment
I thought it was out of love
