It Disappeared Poem by Clara Diskley

It Disappeared

I was there, looking at you,
Knowing it wouldn't last long made
it so hard
It was so hard to know that the time
is almost all up
Soon everything that happened will
soon be nothing more than just a memory

It will soon only be in the past,
and you will also be in the past
Gone, but never forgotten
You my friend, looked at me and saw much
more meaning,
More than what everyone else could possibly see
Still I stare out the window and see nothing

I used to see the bright, burning sun shining
upon me,
Everything used to be so happy to me
Now I look at see the dull storm approaching
me
The sky was gray with no color at all, I used to see
the colors of the rainbow all around me.

You're gone and so is the sun, the colors faded
slowly away like you.
