It Feels So Good Without (1)

Rating: 0.5

We can’t escape the coming wrath
If we don’t seek the Door
If we don’t walk upon the path
The Lord has lain before

The Door is Christ! Salvation’s Way
God’s Holy Son from high
The Shepherd of God’s flock astray
The Lamb God gave to die

Before Christ died to set us free
There was no way to know
But through His death our eyes can see
There’s but one-way to go

Redemption induces spiritual sight
To eyes that once were blind
Like brother Paul, we see the Light
The facts that heal the mind

The devil hides, what Christ would tell
I laughed, when others told
The said I too was bound for hell
If I left Jesus cold

I shrugged it off as quite absurd
Still blind in wayward sin
The truth of Christ I’d never heard
So failed to let Him in

I thought such fools are awfully sad
That they should come to me!
Yet Jesus saw the need I had
And came to set me free

I may not know how Jesus came
Or know the reason why?
But since He did! I’m not the same
I know I’ll never die...PTO
