It’s more of you I know
Whenever we are together,
That makes me fall
Ever deeper in love
With you.

It’s more of you I need
Each and every day
In my mind, heart,
Body and soul -
Your presence reassuring.

It’s more of you I feel
When alone and dolorous
In need of comfort
Silently soothing the pain away.

It’s more of your kiss
I think of,
Lying on my bed all night;
Tossing with poignant memories
Of our evening kiss……

It’s more of love I feel
When locked in your arms,
Staring dreamily into your eyes……
Gently, slowly caressing,
Whispering silently, softly - “I love you”

It’s more of you I see
As I write this ode,
With each word and verse
Do I profess my unending love
For you, my love.

It’s more of you and me
That I am sure off,
If nothing else -
That through it all,
It will forever be
Just you and me.
