It's Time To Say Good Bye Poem by Saumya Varshney

It's Time To Say Good Bye

Heaven's doors are open; Mother Earth is on her way,
For all the selfless deeds she does for us every day.
She's bleeding all her beauty; her cuts too deep to aid.
She's been all abandoned and slowly she shall fade.
They took all the treasures; they ripped off the gems,
They plucked all her fruits, they cut all her stems.
But her arms are always open, she gives it all away.
She has a responsibility, a motherly figure to portray.
Her heart aches for love; it needs a helping hand.
Her children are too evil, they turn her into sand.
Never did she hurt them, never had she betrayed.
With guns, bombs and grenades is how they repaid.
She can't take this pain, she can't bear this weight
Maybe a terrible end was all written down in her fate.
Mother Earth ain't coming back no matter how hard you try.
Regret all you want, but its time to say good bye.
