Its A Deal Poem by Cabaline xxx

Its A Deal

I pick up the 52 pieces of card,
each different but all similar.
The four primary suits, that 13 cards
each wear. The 2 colours, splitting,
them down the middle.26 red.26 black.
My wrists flick and my fingers flex,
as I shuffle all of them, mixing them up.
I deal out suits and cards;
One person- a Jack of Spades.
Another- a King of Hearts.
Another- a Queen of Diamonds.
Then I spare a glance at the two cards,
that still remain in the box.
The most, useless and neglected of all,
the ones 'never' attributed to any soul-
The Pair Of Jokers.
