Number the stars, sand on your shores
Fathom how much they weigh
All that is mine soon may be yours
Living the righteous way
Remain in me as I in you
Refuse; and live in vain
Each pledge God makes is always true
And ever shall remain
I see lives in the darkest place
I hear the words you speak
I know you wish to see my face
But fail The Truth to seek
I know in life the steps you take
The secret things you do
But day and night your God’s awake
With everything in view
This world of yours is not of me
My handwork’s not the same
But in the next so rich and free
Will bear my holy name
Pay high regard to all I say
God’s word is always true
Who fail to live my righteous way
Torment will soon pursue
Recall The Truth that Jesus taught
Live out the way He showed
Believe my child the true report
Kick not against the goad
Who overcome will flee the sword
Will wear the whitest gown
And with salvation’s rich reward
An everlasting crown
