It's Too Late To Apologize

It's too late to apologize
As the sun sets, the darkness rises
The words left unspoken, the actions taken
The love that once bloomed, now forsaken
The air is heavy, the mood is tense
All the hurt, it seems so immense
Regrets and mistakes, they linger on
But now, the chance to make it right is gone
It's too late to apologize
The moment has passed, it's lost in time
All the apologies, they fall on deaf ears
For all the pain and tears, there are no seers
The wounds are deep, they won't heal
For all the sorrow, there is no shield
The heart that was once so pure and kind
Now shattered and broken, it's hard to find
It's too late to apologize
The trust is broken, the love has died
The echoes of 'I'm sorry' fade away
For all the chances, they never stayed
The clock keeps ticking, the days go by
But for us, there's no turning back, no rewind
The silence speaks louder than words
For all the apologies, they seem so absurd
It's too late to apologize
The damage is done, there's no compromise
The pain that's caused, it can't be undone
For all the sorrys, there is no one
The memories haunt, they won't let go
For all the hurt, there is no glow
The love that once burned, now just ash
For all the apologies, there is no stash
It's too late to apologize
The hurtful words, they cut like knives
The trust that's lost, it can't be found
For all the sorrys, there is no rebound
The music plays, but it's just noise
For all the emotions, there is no poise
The heart that once beat, now just aches
For all the mistakes, there are no brakes
It's too late to apologize
The love that once shined, now dark skies
The pain that's caused, it's too much to bear
For all the apologies, there is no repair
The night is long, the loneliness creeps
For all the sorrys, they seem so cheap
The heart that once loved, now closed off
For all the hurt, there's no soft
It's too late to apologize
The chance is gone, there's no surprise
The tears that fall, they won't bring back
For all the regrets, there's no track
The sun rises, but it's just a new day
For all the apologies, they seem so cliche
The heart that once beat, now just a stone
For all the chances, they'll never atone
It's too late to apologize
The damage is done, there's no disguise
The love that once bloomed, now withered away
For all the sorrys, there's nothing to say
So let's not dwell on what could have been
For all the apologies, they don't mean a thing
The heart that was once so fragile and pure
Now hardened and cold, it's hard to endure
It's too late to apologize
The words are empty, there's no alibis
The heart that once loved, now just numb
For all the hurt, there's no welcome
So let's just accept the things that are done
For all the apologies, they've lost their sun
The heart that was once so full of love
Now just a memory, a distant dove
It's too late to apologize
The wounds are deep, and there's no disguise
The love that once burned, now just ash
For all the sorrys, there's no chance to clash.
