I've got my pride, I will not cry
Even if the world around me is awry
I'll stand tall and hold my head high
No matter the storms that pass me by
I've got my pride, it's my shield and sword
Against the battles that I can't afford
It's the fire burning deep inside
Giving me strength, I cannot hide
I've got my pride, it's a part of me
A fierce lioness, wild and free
It's what makes me unique and strong
A symphony of courage and song
I've got my pride, it's my treasured gem
A precious gift, from within I'll stem
I'll wear it proudly, like a badge of honor
For it's my pride that makes me a warrior
I've got my pride, it's my guiding light
Shining through the dark, with all its might
I'll always choose to fight instead of cry
For my pride will never let me die
I've got my pride, it's my compass true
Leading me through the paths I must pursue
I'll face the world with my head held high
For my pride will never let me say goodbye
I've got my pride, it's my battle cry
A mantra to never give up or comply
I'll hold onto it, forever and always
For my pride will never lead me astray
I've got my pride, it's a roaring flame
That fuels my spirit, and keeps me sane
I'll let it burn, an eternal flame
For my pride will never let me be tamed
I've got my pride, it's my armor strong
Protecting me from all that's wrong
I'll walk with grace, and face the fight
For my pride will never let me take flight
I've got my pride, it's my soul's heartbeat
Pumping with passion, and never retreat
I'll stand my ground, and never back down
For my pride will never let me wear a frown
I've got my pride, it's my legacy
A legacy of strength, and bravery
I'll pass it on, to the ones to come
For my pride will never be undone
So I'll hold my head high, and march with pride
Through the valleys and peaks, I'll never hide
For I am strong, I am brave
And my pride will never let me be a slave
I've got my pride, it's my guiding light
A beacon of hope, shining ever so bright
And though tears may fall, I'll never give in
For my pride will always be my win.
