January Dream Poem by Louise Marie DelSanto

January Dream

Rating: 5.0

I am the white snow blanket
left by an angry night.
You are the blue cool sky
that contrasts with the light.

I am the pinnacle of a mountain
caught in a lover's dream.
You are the teasing splash
of a rolling mountain stream.

I am the Winter maples
that quiver for sunlit skies.
You are the Summer sun that
brings flowers to my eyes.
