Jasmine Dreams Poem by Prasad Natarajan

Jasmine Dreams

Intoxicating fragrance of jasmine buds on your locks,
Fill vacant lonely rooms of my wandering heart,
Innocence whispering sounds through your eyes,
Wound me ever so gently from the very start,

Your words those precious white pearls of the sea,
I would dive breathlessly into waves and seek,
Tender soft shyness of yours like new born leaf,
Spring time love, blooms everywhere so to speak,

Warmness of your subtle smile like mid-day rays,
Basking in your warmth, spending my days in dreams,
Listening to chirping birds and swinging bees,
Walking across your meadows and flowing streams.
