I've only known you for a short while
But in this short while you have grown as a dancer
I pictured you more as an athlete
But you can not judge a book by its cover

I see a beautiful young lady who has a good heart
A good heart that is willing to help teammates
Many times I see a smile and hear laughter
But again you can not read a book by its cover

Now, the pages are turned
And I see more of you...

You have grown through your writting
It started off sad and moved on to a little happiness
You seem to be looking for something
Something is looking for you

Jaylen, do you know how special you are?
Look in the mirror...
YOU have several good friends who care about you

When days are weary and your spirits are low
Remember it is in these times that God helps you grow

Let go of the past
Let go of what you THINK you are
AND
You might become what you could be
That is the person your friends and I believe who you are

A wish for you...
My God grant you always
A sunbeam to warm you
A moonlight to guide you
A sheltering angel
So nothing can harm you
May your troubles be few
And your blessings be more
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door
