Jeremiah 33: 3 Poem by Alyssa Daniel

Jeremiah 33: 3

I messed up,
& you forgave me.
You're still here,
never let me go.

I've slapped
you in the face,
& yet you
still have a place.

in your big,
giant heart,
to give me a
brand new start.

You gave me
a home,
in your huge
kingdom.

Thankfully, I chose
to believe
all my wrongs are
now relieved.

I'm always amazed
at what you do,
how your # one
& always true

I don't wanna
look at the physical,
I wanna see
the spiritual.

When you choose
to act,
no one can reverse
the fact.

You wrote
me a letter
to help me
get better.

I want you
to change me,
so others
will see.

That thanks to you,
I'm reborn,
yet my soul
is still torn.

By what I'm
told,
& what I get
sold.

When that's
not right,
only you
give sight.

I'm done, just
believin'
I wanna start
doin'

I'm sorry it took
so long to realize,
your not the
one I despise.

You've given me
everything,
so why stop at
seein'

& thanks
to you
I'm always
gonna know what to to.
