Jewel In The Savannah Poem by JESUROBOOWIE GIFT IMAFIDON

Jewel In The Savannah

Rating: 5.0

With an effortless stride you approached gracefully
Beauty and elegance so captivating
With a freshness like the early morning dew
And a lovely step of womanhood
Heads turn at your arrival

Your velvet black opal skin radiates
And fills the room with a glow
The sun has finally set in the savannah
Just as the full moon lightens up the dark night
You light up my life

Oh beauty personified
Oh goddess of charm and yet mortal
I can feel the gleam of that lovely smile
Reaching to the inner soul
You are the black pearl in crystallised waters

You are so civil, modest and so faultlessly outstanding
The African woman's mildness I feel in your voice
You know your root and your place
A jewel in the savannah
And you are the treasure to behold
