Jonathan Poem by MiJ HeNrieL

Jonathan

It would be a clock that rang a ding, dong, ding!
The chime`s so pleasant to hear even in the gloomiest hour
O, Jonathan, I wonder why you`d changed the way you are.

The first time I saw you, I was startled by your sparkling eyes
Your giggle and laughter melted my heart so cold as ice
I looked upon you as the perfect pal a person would want
O, Jonathan, I wonder why you become far from me and distant.

Yes, you are the clock that rang a beautiful chime
But now look at yourself, so famous yet full of shame
You are indeed the clock that needs a battery to move
O, Jonathan, I wonder why it`s painful to face the truth.
