Just Because Poem by Raymond Valadez

Just Because

Just because you drive fast, does not mean you know how to drive
Just because you are living, does not mean you are alive
Just because you believe in your truth, does not mean it’s not a lie

Just because you have been educated, does not mean you are smart
See it’s your morals that give you your heart
Wisdom not knowledge is what is pure not corrupt

Just because you have sex, does not mean you know how to make love
And if you fly, it does not make you a dove
If you ever learn to walk, that wont guarantee you will run
Believe that life is much more then just fun

Some will say it’s a test, others confess it’s a dream
I choose to believe it’s a gleam
that my Lord has place inside me
