Just For Me Poem by Elia Michael

Just For Me

This work is just for me and only me
It is for no one else's eyes but mine
Thus I, in this, can be totally free
I can select from any form, design.
I want to write some words upon this screen
I do not know the ones that I will choose
Whichever I do choose they'll be unseen
And I will not have anything to lose
So I can write whatever I desire
Fulfilling my own wants and my own need
Expressing thoughts, beliefs I most admire,
I follow where this heart of mine does lead.
What joy it is to have this liberty,
No bars enforcing my captivity.
