Just For You. Poem by kabagambe moses

Just For You.

To break life,

Out of a million roses,

White, red and yellow.

Litter these all over,

Just for you.

To squeeze sweet voice,

Out of a thousand doves.

Sing melodies of you,

Just for you.

To betray my emotions,

One after the other,

From infatuation to obsession,

Just for you.

To love you extravagantly,

Sacrifice my feelings for yours,

Revealing the heart in me,

Just for you.

To be captive,

Of your charms,

Letting my feelings flow,

Just for you.

To lay my heart,

My one and only heart,

On this uncertain floor,

Just for you.

To watch love command us,

Sharing in your jest,

All through the seasons,

Just for you.

To take a walk,

Under the Sunday sun,

With only you,

Just for you.

To take a bath,

In the raging Nile,

With you my love,

Just for you.

To sign a covenant,

With God HIMSELF,

To see us through,

Never let us apart,

Just for us.

To gently awaken you,

From a day of smiles,

Into a lifetime of life.

All in all,

Just for you.
